- Are the bathrooms on Throne Zone actually free?
- Most of them, yes — we tag every listing as free, free-with-a-small-purchase, or customers-only so you know before you walk in. No hidden $2 "key fee" surprises.
- Where can I find a 24-hour bathroom in NYC?
- Filter by "Open now" and search your neighborhood — we track hours per listing, including places open around the clock. Late-night coverage is thinner outside Manhattan for now, but it's growing.
- Do I need an account to use Throne Zone?
- No. Browsing the map, searching, and reading reviews all work anonymously. Signing in only unlocks door access codes and lets you leave reviews under a name instead of anonymously.
- How do access codes work?
- Some cafés and bars keep their bathroom locked with a door code. When we have it, it's visible once you sign in — free, one tap, no forms.
- A bathroom on the map is wrong, closed, or the code changed — what do I do?
- Tap "Report a problem" on that bathroom's page. Reports go straight to our team and get checked fast — that's how the map stays accurate instead of turning into a graveyard of dead listings.
- How do I add a bathroom that's not on the map?
- Hit "Add a bathroom" from any page. Give us what you know — even just a name and address is enough — and someone double-checks it before it goes live.
- Is Throne Zone affiliated with the City of New York?
- No. We're independent — not affiliated with the City of New York, Starbucks, McDonald's, or anyone else whose bathrooms show up on the map. Just a useful, unofficial map.
- Which NYC boroughs does Throne Zone cover?
- Manhattan is fully mapped today. Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island are actively being added — if your neighborhood looks thin right now, check back soon, or add a bathroom yourself.
